Questions
Is this a competition?
No. SAIPAF is a showcase festival. All genres and the diverse traditions of South African Indian performing arts are welcome. Submitting an application does not guarantee selection.
Do I need a password?
No. Enter your email and we'll send you a one-time sign-in link. Your progress is saved automatically, so you can finish later on any device.
Some of our performers are under 18. What happens?
Tell us how many and their age ranges. We'll email each parent or guardian a short permission form (Annexure A). Uploads of photos and recordings open once every guardian has said yes.
How long is a performance slot?
Planned performance slots are 45 minutes. Final timing and technical arrangements are confirmed with selected acts.
What shouldn't I send?
Please don't upload ID copies, banking details, medical information or anything not needed to assess your act.
Who sees my application?
Epic Entertainment's festival team and the Selection Panel. Panel members see your act and media but not your contact details. Everything is stored in South Africa.
